In Bruges I saw In Bruges a couple nights ago and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. My relationship with Colin Farrell is love-hate and 20 minutes in I thought I was going to hate this movie. However, as it moves quickly along through the gorgeous backdrop of Bruges, Belgium it becomes hard not to like it. The comedy is dark as hell and the dialogue is very witty from start to finish. The final scene where Colin Farrell is talking about how he really, really hopes he doesn’t die is both moving and hilarious at the same time. All in all this movie is alot deeper and better than it appears at first glance and I would strongly recommend it. You should also know that the poster for the movie (Photo above) does not do it justice and in many ways makes it look like a bad Steve Martin comedy.
