Things to Look Forward to
I know alot of people right now, many of them readers of this blog, who are in what are known as ruts. A rut is defined by consistent riding of the GO Train, miserable weeknights, and an overall feeling of nostalgia for the carefree days of university. Since I know these people often feel a strong urge to chug the Drano in their parent’s laundry rooms, I have decided to give them a glimpse of the future. Here are some future events to look forward to on the hottest blog on the World Wide Web.
1. Predator Liveblog
What happens when three (maybe four) guys get together to watch what is arguably the greatest action movie of all time and have a few case of beers. You will find out with my upcoming live blog of watching the movie Predator and getting progressively drunker as we do so. With a lineup of Schwarzenegger, Apollo Creed, and Jesse “The Body” Ventura this is sure to be an epic occasion. Expect the comments to devolve into something like this:
1:57 A.M.: aRNOLD sCHWARZEEEEENEGGER just killlllled somebody and is soooooooo JACKEDDDDDDDD. I wish Apollo Creed Never died in the Rockyyyyyy moveissss…HE COULD KICK ROCKYS asssss and that RUSSSIAN LOSER. THISSSSS MOVIE IS AWESOMEMEEMEEEEEEEE
2. Afghanistan Opinion Piece
I have been wanting to air my opinions on Afghanistan for quite awhile but have been waiting for Obama’s troop decision. With that now out of the way you can expect my views on the future of the AfPak region within a couple of days.
